Support Group for Pet Parents with “Special Needs” Pets
This humans only support group is for pet parents who are working through the, sometimes, very severe behavior/medical issues a pet can have. It can be stressful, frustrating, and isolating to have a pet that is fearful, aggressive, has chronic or severe medical issues, or is anxious. It can impact your daily life and isolate you as others may just not understand and can be judgmental. This group is a safe place where you know everyone will understand and will help you get through your journey with your pet.
When: Third Thursday of every third Month (quarterly)
Where: Fort Collins, CO 80526 (address will be sent upon registration)
Beth is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) since 1998. Later, Beth and her husband, Wayne, started Canine Companion Consulting and have been training canines one human at a time using positive, research based methods since 2007.
Separation Anxiety in Dogs Support Group
One of Canine Companion Consulting’s specialties is Separation Anxiety. Separation Anxiety is a very common behavioral concern in dogs. Not only can it be extremely stressful for the dog, but also for the pet parents. The good news is that it is treatable. However, the process is typically slow. Fortunately, there are many others who are sharing your experience who can help support you in your efforts, as well as being supported by you. Join our Facebook Separation Anxiety in Dogs Support Group to be a part of the community of people sharing their thoughts, their struggles, and their successes with each other.
This is a safe place for pet parents to support one another. Please note that this group is for those that use positive research based methods for the treatment of their dogs.
